(2) When the E8 emulator is connected for the first time, the [Please choose driver] dialog box will appear. Click the
[OK] button.

If the E8 emulator had been connected to the host computer through a USB before, the [Please choose driver] dialog
box and the subsequent [Driver Details] dialog box are skipped.
(3) When the E8 emulator is connected for the first time, the [Driver Details] dialog box will appear. Select [Renesas E-
Series USB Driver], and [USB interface] and the unique channel number for the computer will be automatically
displayed. Check the contents of [Details] and click the [Close] button.
